Attendee Terms & Conditions
The Event is organized by the Meetings Technology Expo (MTE), which reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to limit or deny access to any entity or individual. To be eligible to participate, you must be 18 years or older. MTE’s receipt of an application and/or payment does not constitute acceptance. Application and payments that are not accepted will be promptly returned.
By attending the Event, you agree to abide by all generally applicable rules and regulations governing your Event that have been provided or otherwise made known to you by MTE.
Solicitations of business on the premises of the Meetings Technology Expo & Conference by anyone other than registered Meetings Technology Expo exhibitors are strictly prohibited. Violations will result in expulsion of the solicitor from the event and appropriate legal actions will be taken. By continuing with your registration process, you are agreeing to these terms.
By attending the Event, you agree to being filmed or photographed, results of which may be used for marketing or promotional purposes by MTE.
All forms of photography, video and audio recordings are prohibited on-site at Event sessions, presentations, exhibitions, functions and meals without the prior written consent of MTE.
At the Event, you may receive access to MTE and third party licensed content (“Presentation Materials”). MTE is not liable for the information in the Presentation Materials. You may use them solely for your own internal, non-commercial purposes. Unauthorized distribution (via sales, copying, posting on intranet/internet) is expressly forbidden.
Submission of a booking, either online, by phone, email or fax, constitutes an official booking. Full payment must be received in advance of the Event. Your booking is not considered confirmed until full payment has been received.
In the event of cancellation or postponement we will not be held liable for any personal costs that you may have incurred i.e.: travel or accommodation costs.
MTE reserves the right to refuse to register or admit any participant for any reason
MTE reserves the right to cancel or postpone the event, change its venue or any of the other details published.
Overview Meetings Technology Expo respects the privacy of its members and other visitors to its Web site and events and does not collect any information without the knowledge and consent of the user. In addition, all personal information collected through the site and events is provided on a voluntary basis by the user through a visible means of data entry. Information collection and use Meetings Technology Expo is the sole owner of information collected on Meetings Technology Expo. Meetings Technology Expo uses the information to offer special services, to facilitate the flow of information between Meetings Technology Expo and its users, to support and improve the event’s programming, and to help keep the Meetings Technology Expo’s database systems current. All personal information collected on Meetings Technology Expo is provided voluntarily via the submission of the various applications, surveys, forms and other online services located throughout the site.
Usage tracking Meetings Technology Expo analyzes its Web server logs to track the site’s usage patterns and gauge its performance. Although the server automatically tracks the visitor’s domain name to determine the site’s overall number of visitors, no attempt is made to correlate that information with individual users. Disclosures to third parties discussion forums and chat rooms Registered Meetings Technology Expo attendees have access to several online discussion forums including the Meetings Technology Expo Virtual event, RFID and Lead Retrieval Services and the Meetings Technology Expo mobile application. Upon entering these areas, members are identified by their usernames. It should be kept in mind that any personal information disclosed in these areas can be collected and used by others. At the same time, members may also receive unsolicited messages from other parties as a result of participation in these areas.
Use of email addresses Meetings Technology Expo will use the email addresses provided to it to notify constituents of special announcements, new services, or other event updates and services offered by the Meetings Technology Expo. Meetings Technology Expo also regularly distributes several email newsletters to its constituents. Meetings Technology Expo is sensitive to the concerns of its attendees and works to segment its distribution lists so that only recipients who would benefit from the communication are included on the list.
